Sales Support Specialist

Preferred location: Charlotte, NC or Porto, Portugal, but we will consider applicants within Eastern Time (ET) +/- 5 hours

Job Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Sales Support Specialist to enhance our sales operations. This role involves managing outreach campaigns, initiating contact with potential leads, and scheduling strategic discussions with our CEO. The ideal candidate will be a pivotal element of our sales team, working closely with the CEO to drive our sales initiatives and collaborate with the marketing team to create tailored sales enablement materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute outreach campaigns to generate new sales prospects;

  • Manage initial lead contact and nurture relationships to warm these leads for executive meetings;

  • Schedule and coordinate sales calls and meetings for the CEO;

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to produce bespoke materials that support specific sales opportunities;

  • Utilize CRM systems to organize and track lead interactions and follow-ups;

  • Continuously explore innovative approaches to identify new leads and market opportunities;

  • Provide administrative and project support for various sales activities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales support, business development, or a similar role. Applicants should be prepared to share specific metrics and case studies from their careers to illustrate their impact;

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate ideas, strategies, and results to stakeholders at all levels;

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions;

  • Experience with CRM software (HubSpot or similar) and other sales technologies;

  • Experience with MarTech tools (e.g. CMS platforms, email marketing, visual design, content management tools, etc) is a strong plus;

  • Experience within the healthcare sector is a strong plus.
